According to Regina Jackson, the mother of Jayden Daniels, who previously appeared on Amazon’s The Money Game, “girls” will pose the greatest threat to her son’s NFL career. In other words, Mrs. Jackson will not tolerate any gold diggers.
“Some girl out here, she’s got a Jayden Daniels wall and her mama says, ‘Hey honey, you’re going to be the one to get ‘em.’ And I know that sounds crazy, but I guarantee there’s someone who’s trying to get their hooks into Jayden Daniels… So thank god he got a mama like me because it ain’t happening.”
Jayden Daniels’ Mother clears the air on his dating life
On the most recent episode of the Pivot Podcast, Daniels’ mother spoke with Ryan Clark to elucidate her remarks in response to the criticism she has received online.
Jackson claims that every parent of a famous athlete should be aware of her reasonable fear of predatory partners pursuing her son.
“The whole girls comment was made, first of all, two years into him being at LSU. It was a question asked, what is your biggest fear, and that should be every parent’s biggest fear. If you’re a star athlete and you’re a female in the WNBA, that should be your biggest fear… Your dollar amount is associated with your name, so you never know who really is there for you and who’s really against you.”
“I want Jayden to date… My son can date. He can live freely and make his own decisions.”
Jackson insisted that she is confident in Daniels’ upbringing, even if her son’s fame would only increase as long as he continues to achieve at his current level on the football field. His mother claimed that he is free to bring home anybody he wants since she believes that she has given him the skills to recognize the appropriate kind of spouse.
