Hotline for Diddy Abuse Accusers Got Over 12,000 Calls in Just 1 Day, Says Attorney [Video]

A Texas attorney is making headlines for alleging a hotline set up for people to share tips about Diddy‘s alleged illegal behavior received more than a whopping 12,000 calls in just 24 hours.

The embattled music and fashion mogul (born Sean Combs) is currently behind bars in New York after an indictment on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

His legal woes have only amplified since his arrest, however, as 120 people have sued the 54-year-old since – all claiming to have experienced some form of abuse at his hands. They are all represented by the same attorney, the Houston-based Tony Buzbee (as announced in a recent press conference).

According to Buzbee, his pursuit of justice encouraged him to expand outreach to other alleged Diddy victims to ensure their voices are heard as well.

In a recent interview with Law & Crime, Tony said the hotline received over 15,000 calls from people with allegations about Combs with 12,000 of those rings coming in less than 24 hours.

“When I made an announcement that I was going to pursue this case, the floodgates really opened,” he said in the video above. “In a 10-day period we got 3,200 calls and then from the press conference we had yesterday, we had 12,000 calls in about 24 hours. Our Herculean task is to try to sift through every one of these calls and make sure we are identifying those who are victims and those who are witnesses and collect evidence.”

If credible evidence arises from any of those calls, Buzbee warns, the 120 lawsuits will just be the beginning of Diddy’s troubles.
