With the Super Bowl Bowl Halftime Show 2024 around the corner, anticipation for Usher‘s headlining performance is reaching a fever pitch.

Amid the buzz is excitement around the icon’s ninth studio album ‘Coming Home.’

Set for release on February 9, the project serves as the superstar’s first full-length solo set since 2016’s ‘Hard II Love.’

Having already given fans a taste of LP by way of the hit single ‘Good Good’ with Summer Walker and 21 Savage and Jung Kook collaboration ‘Standing Next to You,’ fresh details have emerged about what’s coming next.

As reported, Usher covers the latest digital edition Vogue Magazine. 

Beyond styling and profiling, the feature quietly spilled that its accompanying interview was taking place on  “the Bel Air set of a glossy new music video for an Afrobeat-inflected earworm.”

The project is also confirmed to clock in at a generous 20-tracks.

There were also teases about what the Halftime Show will serve up:

“Yes, there will be skating, and the killer choreography you might have come to expect; there will be at least one major costume change; and perhaps most pivotally, there will be some important guests.”

‘Coming Home’ arrives on February 9. Two days later, on February 11, Usher will hit the stage for the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show live from the Allegiant Stadium in Nevada.
