According to TMZ, the legendary artist suffered a fall at his home in Nice.

At present, the cause of the fall hasn’t been disclosed. However, the occurrence was deemed serious enough for the 76-year-old to be hospitalized and placed under a doctor’s supervision in Monaco over the weekend.

A rep for the icon issued the following statement:

“Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure. Following check ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.” 

The news comes after John wrapped his mammoth ‘Farwell Yellow Brick Road Tour.’ Launched in 2018, the gargantuan trek (billed as the performer’s last), sold a whopping six million tickets and generated $939 Million at the global box office.
