It’s doubtful that Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have forgotten their heartbreaking Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, which may have been even more unfortunate given their 15-2 record.
With a picture of Mahomes being overpowered by one of their defensive players, the Eagles are now using this buzz to inspire their team.
The Eagles use Patrick Mahomes as inspiration and make fun of him
A picture of a mural painted by the winning team from the last Super Bowl, showing Patrick Mahomes totally dominated, is making the rounds on the internet.

One of the first pictures shows Jalen Carter overpowering Mahomes, reaching the Eagles quarterback and bringing him down. For many Chiefs supporters, including Mahomes, this mural will surely be completely humiliating.
In his first remarks since the New Orleans fiasco, the NFL’s top quarterback made this apparent in a message to local media. He said:
“You have that bad taste in your mouth from the last time you stepped on the football field, and you have to hear about it all offseason,”. “It gives you the push that you want to go out there and be better and show what we’re really about.”
“If you look at the only real positive I think from the Super Bowl, it was the second half-me just kind of getting back to, ‘We’ve got to throw the ball deep,'”
The Eagles’ defense essentially embarrassed the Chiefs’ offense. Andy Reid’s side didn’t score a single point before halftime and only gained one first down during the first half of that contest. We could say that Mahomes’ two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown, set the tone for the game.
