DaBaby is seeking to have a $4 million lawsuit filed against him by Brandon Bills, the brother of his ex-girlfriend DaniLeigh, dismissed.

The lawsuit stems from an altercation at a Southern California bowling alley in February 2022, during which Bills alleges he was attacked by DaBaby and others.
Bills claims he was assaulted without provocation and is seeking damages for physical and psychological injuries, as well as medical expenses. At the time, a police investigation was launched but no criminal charges were filed, reportedly due to Bill’s refusal to cooperate with authorities.
DaBaby’s legal team argues that the case should be dismissed because Bill failed to properly serve the rapper with legal papers and did not utilize court-approved alternative methods, such as publication. They also note that more than three years have passed since the lawsuit started, exceeding the allowable period for prosecution.
The court has yet to rule on DaBaby’s dismissal request.
