Ciara fans (affectionately called the #CSquad) are still buzzing over the R&B diva’s surprise appearance as the cover girl of the latest issue of ‘L’Officiel USA.’

Not only using the mag to officially announce her eighth studio album, ‘CiCi,’ but also lift the lid on news of a long-awaited reunion with ‘Goodies‘ producer Jazze Pha.

And while names like Latto and Tyga are confirmed guests on the July 11-due project as well, Ci – if she gets her way – apparently wants to add one more: Tyla.

When not turning heads in the mag’s pages with stunning designer duds like Fendi, Bulgari, and Hermes, Ci was being interviewed behind the scenes to talk about her next musical chapter and more.

While reflecting on the beginnings of her own career, the GRAMMY winner took time to shout out some of the new class of movers and shakers she has her eye on.

“There’s some incredible talent that’s really just expressing themselves in the ultimate way as an artist, people like Coco Jones – I love her voice,” Ci exclaimed. Doechii is super dope, I’m excited and happy for her. Sabrina Carpenter is super cool.”

When quizzed on who among today’s up-and-comers she would consider collaborating with, Ciara didn’t hesitate to answer.

“I think it would be super cool to work with Tyla. I think what she does, her music is really infectious. She makes people dance with her music. For me, it’s really important to make the world dance,” she relayed about the ‘Water‘ singer. “I think me and Tyla could wind it up a little bit, and do a little something something together. It could be cute.”

The sentiment about Tyla is one shared by Ci’s friend and fellow performer Normani, who took to press in December to say she wants to collaborate with the South African hitmaker in “the near future.”
