Chris Brown is cruising towards the release of his new studio album ’11:11.’

The loosely themed set serves as the performer’s 11th LP and is due to arrive on November 11 (11/11).

And while it was initially revealed that the project would be comprised of 11 tracks to tie into the concept, C. Breezy has pivoted somewhat.

Full story below…

In sharing the album’s official artwork (check it out above), Brown revealed an updated concept that will see the set now be made up of 22 songs.

Uniquely, the LP is being split into Side A (11am) and Side B (11pm), each of which clock in at 11 songs each.

“11:11. 22 songs A&B SIDES 11am/11pm ( official album cover)”

No stranger to lengthy albums (a practice Brown promised had ceased), there is – on the flip side – undoubtedly a streaming (and thus charting) benefit to re-embracing a longer list of tracks.

Though we were excited to finally have a more concise effort from Brown in the current climate, it’ll be interesting to see how he executes this offering.

Will the Side A and Side B format function like Alicia Keys’ recent ‘Keys’ album, which saw different versions of the same song reside on each side? Or is this a semi-creative means of shoe-horning 22 totally different songs onto the same project? Time will tell.

In the here and now, what are…
