Ariana Grande is shining luminously on the latest iteration of the Billboard 200.

For, the songbird’s freshly hatched ‘Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead’ has debuted at #1 on the coveted count.

The expanded edition of the 2024 set arrived on March 28 and brought with it six new tracks and a companion short film.

And while it looked like a close battle with Playboi Carti‘s ‘Music’ threatened Grande’s bid for chart supremacy, she managed to clinch the top spot.

After mounting a strong multi-format push (across digital and physical iterations such as vinyl), the superstar’s ‘Brighter Days Ahead’ pulled off the feat by selling 137,000 units in its first week.

Of that sum, 75,000 were accrued via 98.45 million on-demand streams of the set’s songs. Traditional units amounted to 61,000 units.

In returning to #1 after a year and two weeks, the project becomes one of two releases in the last six months to rocket back to the top spot after more than a year.
