Queen Bey’s Country-kissed cut is exploding on all metrics – dominating the streaming scene, growing rapidly on radio, and has gone all sorts of viral on TikTok.

The potent combination has already earned the track the honor of becoming the superstar’s highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 when it flew in at #2 – with just four days of sales data.

Now, it looks like the song is a shoo-in for the #1 spot on the upcoming edition of the coveted count.

As of writing, ‘Texas’ is presently outpacing Jack Harlow’s ‘Lovin’ on Me’ by a significant margin; one that should see it comfortably climb one place to pole position.

Should Mrs. Carter pull off the feat, the track will become her 9th solo chart-topper on the Hot 100 (and 13th overall, when factoring in Destiny’s Child). Her most recent #1 on the count was 2022’s ‘Renaissance’ lead, ‘Break My Soul.’

‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ is lifted from the diva’s new ‘Act II’ album, the second installment of her three-project arc. The set arrives on March 29 via Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records.
