While doing press for ‘The Accountant 2’, the Oscar winner opened up in a recent interview using his socially awkward character ‘Christian Wolff’ to reflect on the chaos of modern dating, saying:
“It’s not easy for anyone figuring out relationships, particularly at the very early part, where you’re trying gauge, ‘What does this signal mean? Is this person looking at me? Do they like me? Am I going to humiliate myself if I go over there?'”
Whew. Sounding very much like a man who’s been through it.
Given the headlines around his split from Jennifer Lopez earlier this year, fans are reading between the lines. With no prenup in place, it took months to split their $60M Beverly Hills estate.
Still, Affleck is keeping it cool, recently saying he has “a lot of respect” for J Lo. One thing’s for sure, he’ll spill the tea without ever dropping the cup.
