Adarius Taylor, a Former Linebacker, Left His 6-Year-Old Son in His Car to Meet Prostitute

Authorities in Polk County, Florida, arrested former NFL linebacker Adarius Taylor last week after he allegedly left his six-year-old son alone in a car while trying to meet a lady he thought was offering escort services.

In reality, the woman was an undercover police officer who was involved in a solicitation-focused sting. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident happened on May 8. After responding to a fraudulent internet advertisement offering escort services in exchange for money, Taylor took his small son to a certain place.

After leaving the child alone in the car, he went into what looked like a hotel room.

According to police-captured video, Taylor allegedly discussed sexual behavior with the officer before hastily leaving the scene. Shortly after, he was taken into custody on suspicion of soliciting prostitution and other connected offenses.

When deputies discovered Taylor’s youngster in the car by himself, the situation deteriorated. Taylor’s actions were sharply condemned by Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, particularly in light of the child’s medical needs.

According to the sheriff, the youngster was picked up by his mother securely and is doing fine at the moment. The involvement of child protective services is necessary to guarantee the youngster’s ongoing safety.
