Local police report that one man was pronounced dead at the scene, while another died after being transported to Regional One Hospital. Thankfully, the police have made some progress in the investigation and have taken two suspects into custody. During a press conference, the Memphis Police Department revealed that the deceased victims were specifically targeted, but no further details were provided regarding the motive. One person has been charged with first-degree murder, while the other faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated robbery. While Yo Gotti owns Prive, a source has revealed that he was not in Memphis at the time of the shooting, and none of his family members, including his girlfriend Angela Simmons, were among the victims. The Prive restaurant was previously closed in November 2021 for fear of retaliation violence after rapper Young Dolph was murdered about 10 miles away in Memphis. The police had guarded the establishment, but nothing happened. In 2019, Yo Gotti's tour bus was shot up after a concert in Nashville, TN. Luckily, no one was injured.
