Rob Gronkowski, the legendary NFL player, has finally opened up about his viral Ohio State Hungover photo from over two decades ago, and according to him, it was a “special moment.”

Gronk is reminiscing about that infamous photo. While speaking to Beau Allen about it, he called it a “special moment.” The man himself thinks getting caught looking like a hot mess was something special. Got to love his positive attitude.

He had other things to share about the viral photo, too.

He recalled the story quite vividly, saying he went out with his two good friends who were attending Ohio State the night before the game as it was a perfect opportunity to hang out with his buddies and make a visit.

“I’ll just say I was drinking water because I was only 18 years old at the time,” he said. “So it was just water, but I was feeling good off the water.”

Gronk added that he and his pals got into two fights, and he cleaned someone out. He also said he was happy the whole thing went down before the camera phone era.

“We had a little brawl as well, which was fun. That’s the whole point of these visits,” he said. “I’m feeling like a disaster. I go to the game, and someone takes a picture of me looking like that. All that water that I drank got me feeling like that.”

He noted that the pic only came out after he became a famous NFL player.
