VIDEO: Luka Doncic’s Dad, Sasa Doncic, Calls Out The Dallas Mavericks Over How They Handled His Son’s Trade

In a recent interview on Slovenian television, Sasa Doncic, the father of NBA superstar Luka Doncic, did not hold back when expressing his disappointment with the Dallas Mavericks and their handling of his son’s trade. Sasa called out the organization, claiming that they had mishandled the entire situation.

Sasa trashed some individuals in the Mavericks organization calling them hypocrites over the unfair treatment towards Luka Doncic while he was still with the team. Luka’s dad expressed his disappointment over how they are finding excuses to back the trade.

According to Sasa;

“I say from some individuals, maybe even hypocrisy, this hurts me personally. Because I think that Luka absolutely doesn’t deserve this. I feel like this is very unfair from some individuals because I know that Luka respected Dallas a lot. He respected the whole city and helped children.”

“It wasn’t even a problem last year since, I am saying again, one individual said he’s not fit enough. I feel that this is very unfair from certain individuals. You traded him, stand by your actions, but don’t look for excuses.”

It remains to be seen how the Dallas Mavericks will respond to Sasa Doncic’s criticism and if any changes will be made to improve the way they handle their star players’ future trades. Luka is now with the Lakers and it’s hope that he will live up to the expectations!
