‘The Book of Clarence’ Tipped to Wow Audiences at the BFI London Film Festival

‘The Book of Clarence’ arrives on the big screen next January.

But before then, the hotly anticipated Jeymes Samuel production is making its premiere at the 67^th BFI London Film Festival, with its gala world premiere taking place today (Wednesday 11^th October).

The director’s latest offering, which follows the revered ‘The Harder They Fall,’ ‘brings a Biblical-era blockbuster to the cinematic pulpit.

LaKeith Stanfield leads the All-Black fronted film as Clarence – a streetwise, but debt-ridden man trying to get by.

Initially unfazed by the teachings of Jesus Christ, he becomes enchanted by the magnetizing appeal of the Messiah, His apostles, and their teachings. Fuelled by this fascination, Clarence puts everything on the line to make a change – and learns an unlikely lesson in the process.

Eagerly anticipated, the film features all-new music from JAY-Z, Samuel, and more.
