For the third day of testimony in Tory Lanez’s felony assault trial, Kelsey Nicole Harris, Meg’s former friend and assistant, gave her first-person account of what happened the night Megan Thee Stallion was shot in the feet in July 2020.

Megan Thee Stallion and her now ex-bestie Kelsey Nicole have been at each other's necks (complete with diss tracks and more) ever since that night Meg got shot, but the masses have been confused on why.

Kelsey, who was in the car the night of the shooting, revealed shocking new details about her personal relationship with Tory Lanez (real name Daystar Peterson), as well as Meg’s intimate relationship with the Canadian artist.

As you know, Tory Lanez, 30, pleaded not guilty to three felony assault charges in connection to the shooting following a gathering at Kylie Jenner’s house on July 12, 2020.

The courtroom lit up when Kelsey immediately demanded immunity in the case for her testimony. According to Rolling Stone, before Kelsey began her testimony, she invoked her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and requested "use immunity" from prosecution, which was granted. However, her testimony left prosecutors frustrated as she answered almost every question with “I honestly don’t remember.”

Kelsey began her testimony by stating that she did not want to be present for the trial. When asked what was triggering her, she replied, "lies from Megan."

When asked what lies she was referring to, she responded, “That I betrayed her. That I am a bad friend. That I took hush money. There are many lies,” she testified.

She described the trial as a "trigger situation," adding that she was experiencing anxiety as a result of the birth of her son and a recent death.

During opening statements, Tory’s attorney, George Mgdesyan, told the jury that Tory’s DNA was not found on the weapon used in the attack, which would create doubt that he wasn’t the shooter and that Kelsey was, in fact, the shooter. To this, Kelsey said those accusations were “ridiculous.”

Kelsey went on to detail how she and Meg first met Tory at the same time at a Roc Nation Nation brunch in 2020. After they met, she said Meg wanted her to hook up with Tory. They began to engage in an “intimate relationship.” However, when Kelsey tested positive for COVID, she left Los Angeles for Texas, and that’s when Meg and Tory began hooking up.

On the night of the shooting, Kelsey said there was a small gathering at Kylie Jenner’s home, where there was plenty of alcohol in the mix. Kelsey confirmed that Tory was flirting with Kylie and said Meg became agitated. Meg then wanted to leave with Tory, but he refused. Kelsey and Meg left Kylie’s house, but then returned shortly after because the Traumazine raptress said she forgot her slipper.

After she retrieved her slipper, Meg came back to the car with Tory, and they got into a black SUV with Tory’s bodyguard, Jauquan Smith. During the car ride, Kelsey said she learned of Megan and Tory’s sexual relationship, which she alleges kicked off the argument between the three of them. Allegedly, Meg began to scrutinize Tory’s music career, saying he owed his fame to being "on a remix with Jack Harlow."

When Deputy District Attorney Kathy Ta asked whether Tory, had threatened to shoot her, she invoked her Fifth Amendment right.

The question was about a September interview that was shown in court.

“Do you remember in this interview with (another prosecutor) and myself, that you mentioned he threatened to shoot you?,” Ta inquired. Portions of the recording were played to refresh Kelsey’s memory, however, she said the things she said then were not true because she was “protecting” herself.

Prosecutors displayed text messages Kelsey sent to Megan's security guard the night of the alleged shooting, which stated, "Help. Tory shot Meg” and “911."

In court, Kelsey said she had no idea why she texted that because she didn’t see what happened. She kept saying she only heard gunshots. When asked if Tory shot Meg, she invoked her Fifth Amendment right.

The DA asked Kelsey if she remembered saying Meg looked like a "deer in the headlights" and seeing Tory aim the gun downward toward Megan, which Kelsey later denied. She admitted to being "in defense mode."

During Meg’s testimony, she said Tory promised her and Kelsey $1 million if they did not tell police about the incident, claiming he was on probation for a prior weapons offense.

When asked if Tory offered her $1 million to keep quiet about the shooting, Kelsey stated that she "assumes" the money was for the shooting, but Tory never stated explicitly what it was for.

”I guess if that's what you want to call it," she said when asked if Tory’s alleged offers to fund a future business and pay for her lawyers were in exchange for her remaining silent. Kelsey stated that she does not want any connection or correlation with Tory and has rejected his alleged money offers, claiming that she told him, “I don't need you to do anything for me.”

Kelsey Harris is scheduled to return for further testimony, followed by cross-examination, today at 10AM PST.
