Whether you agree with him or not, LeBron James erred by posing as a “father” instead of a player and confronting a member of the media. Only LBJ the player is paid to see LeBron the father.

LeBron challenged the gregarious ESPN anchor Stephen A. Smith for his previous remarks about his kid Bronny James, who is not a player of NBA ability.

Sports news has been dominated by the incident, which happened on March 6 during a game versus the Knicks in Los Angeles. Rich Paul, LeBron James’ agent, shared his thoughts on the situation.

Paul addressed the needless controversy surrounding James and Smith on Tuesday’s appearance on Pat McAfee’s own show.

In support of his client, the agent stayed “player-friendly” throughout. Paul stated: “I didn’t think it was much, but as adults you try to handle things the best way possible, so I was glad they were able to move on,” “But it’s tough — any time you have media platforms, and there’s so many today, and these guys… as much as (they) critique, sometimes it can be felt as if it’s a little bit more than that.”

“So there’s a balance there to try to maintain,” “I just try to focus on the business of it and keep the personal stuff away. But sometimes you have those things, but we have moved on — it was a dust-up, and we moved on.”

For starters, even though Bronny’s skill set was shamefully underdeveloped, Stephen A. wasn’t the one who forced him into the league. Even though Bronny was only a G-League player at the time, LeBron’s influence resulted in the Lakers selecting him in the second round of the previous offseason and including him in the team’s opening game.
