Raiders DE Charles Snowden Arrested for DUI

After being discovered unconscious inside his Jeep Grand Cherokee dangling over a retaining wall in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Raiders defensive end Charles Snowden was arrested for driving under the influence.

At the time of his detention, Snowden’s blood alcohol content was more than double the legal limit. As an undrafted free agent, Snowden joined the league in 2021 and played in two games for the Chicago Bears.

It was all the more tragic because he was having a breakthrough season this year. Snowden earned a spot on the Raiders‘ roster by performing well during preseason. This season, he has made 13 appearances, including seven starts.

He has recorded 1.5 sacks, three pass breakups, six quarterback hits, and three tackles for loss throughout that time.
