Power Book III: Raising Kanan Will Mark Lamar Jackson’s Acting Debut

Lamar Jackson will be entering a new arena. According to PEOPLE, the 28-year-old quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens will make his acting debut in a forthcoming Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 4 episode.

Jackson will make a single, guest-starring appearance as E-Tone, a character who is characterized as an “intimidating figure not to be messed with.”

The 2024 NFL MVP informs PEOPLE in a statement: “I’m so excited for fans to see me in this new role and thrilled to be a part of Power Book III: Raising Kanan.”

E-Tone is described as “a deadly, dangerous character” and “you don’t want to get on his bad side!” in his teasing remarks. According to PEOPLE’s exclusive first-look images, he will be involved with Unique (Joey Bada$$), who is on a sort of warpath this season following an unexpected resurrection in the season 3 finale, even though his exact involvement in the plot is unknown.

As the long-term repercussions of the brain trauma he sustained at the hands of his brother began to affect him, the 30-year-old rapper told PEOPLE that he was allowed to “reimagine the character” for season 4.

On Fridays, Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 4 premieres new episodes on Starz at midnight. ET.
