LeBron James and Bronny James’ season-opening jerseys found a new owner!
As we previously reported, the unique package was put available through Sotheby’s last month. It is thought that both outfits were worn on October 22, the night when Bron and Bronny created NBA history, when the Lakers played the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The father and son played on the same team and shared the NBA court for the first time during a regular season game.
This shirt was photo-matched to the second half of the game (during which Bronny was benched), media day, and other in-game appearances, though it’s unclear if he wore it for the three minutes he played against the Wolves.
LeBron’s jersey was photographed to match the media day, the first game, and preseason activities. According to TMZ, the price of the jerseys, which went up for bid on Tuesday, was $102,000.
We don’t know who the new owner is, but we assume they’re a huge James Gang fan.
