LeBron James Surprising Spot In Top 10 NBA Jersey Sales

LeBron James‘s popularity is taking a hit finally.  Two teams are comfortably commanding their conferences as we enter the second half of the NBA season. The Oklahoma City Thunder (36-8) and Cleveland Cavaliers (36-7) are both on track for their best seasons ever in the West and the East, respectively.

The All-Star Game starters were also revealed. The game is scheduled for February 16 at the Chase Center, home of the Warriors. Since all ten starters participated in 2024, several of the players from last year will be returning to this year’s All-Star Game. Four of the five starters from the previous season—LeBron James, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, and Kevin Durant—are back in the West.

Luka Doncic, who has been sidelined since last month due to an injury, has been replaced by Stephen Curry; otherwise, the starting five would have remained the same.

Top-Selling NBA Jerseys for LeBron James and Other All-Stars

The situation in the East is different. Only Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum are making a comeback; the other three starters, Donovan Mitchell, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Jalen Brunson, all participated in last year’s All-Star Game as reserves. Since KAT was still with Minnesota at the time, he specifically played for the West.

Everyone is aware that choosing an All-Star is mostly a popularity contest, even though playing well is the way to gain popularity. The only player not on the list is KAT, but nine of the ten starters for this year’s All-Star Game are among the top 15 best-selling jerseys of the season. Honestly, unless they suffer injuries that keep them from playing, I believe the other six best-selling jerseys will also be worn.

Only four players have changed out of the top 15 jerseys sold at this time last season; the other 11 have not. Once more, Curry tops the list, followed by Jayson Tatum (3) and LeBron James (2). Naturally, the top players in each conference, Mitchell with the Cavaliers and SGA with Oklahoma City, who were absent from last season’s top selling shirts, returned.
