‘Lazy Ass’ Baseball Called Out by Donald Trump Over Pete Rose

President Donald Trump set baseball on fire Friday night for failing to bury the late great Pete Rose in Cooperstown, even though Opening Day is still a few weeks away!

The president, who loves baseball, vented his frustrations to the HOF voters and MLB administration, blaming writers and commish Rob Manfred (albeit not by name) for preventing the all-time hit leader from being inducted into the Hall of Fame, even after his death.

On Truth Social, Trump posted: “Major League Baseball didn’t have the courage or decency to put the late, great, Pete Rose, also known as ‘Charlie Hustle,’ into the Baseball Hall of Fame,”

“Now he is dead, will never experience the thrill of being selected, even though he was a FAR BETTER PLAYER than most who made it, and can only be named posthumously. WHAT A SHAME!”

Rose is superior to most people in Cooperstown, and that’s saying a lot! DT is not mistaken. One of the best to ever grace a diamond was the Cincinnati Reds legend.

47 went on, vowing to start again for Rose… following his 1990 conviction for a crime involving the failure to record income he received from signing autographs.

“Anyway, over the next few weeks I will be signing a complete PARDON of Pete Rose, who shouldn’t have been gambling on baseball, but only ever on HIS TEAM WINNING. He never bet against himself, or the other team.”

The president concluded his tirade by listing some of Pete’s professional accomplishments and issuing a baseball warning.

“He had the most hits, by far, in baseball history, and won more games than anyone in sports history. Baseball, which is dying all over the place, should get off its fat, lazy ass, and elect Pete Rose, even though it’s far too late, into the Baseball Hall of Fame.”

Rose was disqualified from the Hall of Fame in 1989 after an inquiry found that he had gambled on baseball, something he later acknowledged. As a result, he was permanently barred from Major League Baseball.
