Ja’Marr Chase, a wide receiver, was questioned after the game whether the offense felt compelled to score on every drive. Reporters heard a disheartened Chase say, “That’s our expectations now.” In response to two additional inquiries, he stated without further explanation that the Bengals needed to “find a way.”

Chase had six catches for 86 yards and a touchdown near the end of the game.
The Bengals have had an extremely difficult season. They are 4–8. They aren’t looking good, but their chances of making the playoffs aren’t entirely gone. It’s obvious which side of the ball is problematic because they had a top 10 offense going into the game.
