In a Heated Face-Off, Chris Eubank Jr. Slaps Conor Benn With an Egg

Even though Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn are only two months apart, the pyrotechnics between the two boxers have already begun to flare up because, after a fierce staredown, Eubank Jr. just slapped Benn’s mouth with an egg.

As a prelude to their much-awaited matchup at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April, the chaotic scene took place in Manchester on Tuesday. The video shows Eubank Jr. reaching under his sleeve, extracting the egg, and then slapping his opponent with it as they were conversing.

Security intervened and tried their best to detain Benn before the situation worsened since, as you could assume, he did not like the move. Why the egg, then? It was a reference to the reasons behind the cancellation of their first battle.

When Benn tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug in October 2022, the battle was canceled. However, the WBC later overturned the decision, stating that the result was caused by an egg contamination.

Eubank Jr. made light of the egg contamination argument in a post on X, stating: “Apparently egg contamination was the reason for his two failed drug tests. So I contaminated him with an egg.”

In response to the confrontation, Benn also said: “That’s the only shot you’ll land on me, you f***ing prick.”

Well, we will soon find out what happens in 60 days as the much-anticipated fight will take place in London.
