Normani sent her beloved fans (affectionately called #NormaniNation) into a frenzy on Monday (December 9) after a ‘Rolling Stone‘ feature revealed she’s not only eyeing a 2025 tour for her debut solo album, ‘Dopamine,’ but also looking to drop its highly anticipated follow-up LP.

Before supporters could begin throwing ideas her way on what her next project should look, feel, and sound like, she surprised in that same interview with the suggestion she already has her sights on a future collaborator.

The same day she released ‘Personal‘ – her surprise reunion with “best friend” and ‘Love Lies’ co-star Khalid – Normani shared news she’s already looking to share studio time with another chart topper: Tyla.

“I love me some Tyla. I think that she is such a superstar. I can clock a star when I see one. She just does it for me,” the former Fifth Harmony hitmaker shared after revealing ‘Tyla‘ as one of her favorite albums of 2024. “I’m really excited to see what she continues to do.”

As far as the prospect of them working together in the future goes, Normani suggested it’s something she has her eye on.

“I have to do something with her for sure, hopefully in the near future. Maybe we’ll make it happen in the new year. That would be really fun,”  the ‘Wild Side‘ singer relayed.

At writing Normani has not revealed a tentative release date for her new project.
