Early Point Spread for the Quarterfinals of the College Football Playoffs and Peach Bowl

It’s the third quarterfinal of the College Football Playoffs. The early point spread has been made public for the matchup between Arizona State and Texas. FanDuel had the Longhorns as 13.5-point favorites to beat the Sun Devils. At 50.5, the over-under opened as well.

As one of the top four conference champions, Arizona State punched their ticket to the Peach Bowl. After winning the Big 12 championship and finishing the regular season on a high note, the Sun Devils entered the 12-team bracket as the fourth seed.

In the CFP quarterfinal, that meant ASU would play either Texas or Clemson.

Jaydon Blue’s big run and a strong defensive stand helped the Longhorns overcome a fourth-quarter scare to defeat the Tigers 38–24 in the first round and move on to the bracket.
