According to recent internet speculations, UFC fighter Israel Adesanya and his ex-girlfriend Charlotte Powdrell reached a settlement of $500,000 after a court battle over his assets. In 2019, former champion and UFC icon Israel Adesanya started dating Charlotte Powdrell, a real estate agent from New Zealand with a nursing background.

When Powdrell accompanied Adesanya following his victory over Robert Whittaker that same year, their connection was made public. Tensions between the couple weren’t made public until 2023, even though their relationship terminated in 2020. ​

As a result, the court allegedly mandated that Powdrell divide her assets, which led to Adesanya receiving a payout of $500,000. ​

No similar court cases or settlements between Adesanya and Powdrell have been covered by major media outlets. Social media and newer websites that frequently lack fact-checking seem to be the main sources of the narrative’s popularity.

Adesanya has also disclosed in the past that his father, a qualified accountant, assists in overseeing his fortune. The UFC fighter has also refrained from making any public remarks regarding the story.

Adesanya vented his annoyance on social media in May 2023, accusing Powdrell of vying for a share of his fortune despite the fact that they were not married and had no kids.
