Chris Brown is addressing colorism accusations he received after a group of Black British women took to social media to reveal they were denied entry into a London night club because “no black girls” were allowed. This time, he's being accused of colorism while on his Under the Influence tour in the UK. And it’s not a good look. Over the weekend, a group of Black women took to TikTok to air their grievances against the singer after they were allegedly denied access to the VIP section of a club in London. One woman spoke out, saying, "We were supposed to go see Chris Brown, and there were thousands of girls lining up there. Thousands of girls, and they were not getting in. And we were supposed to be on the VIP guest list." Another woman chimed in, "They forgot to tell us that Black girls ain't allowed." “They were initially handpicking these white girls,” one girl said. “Chris Brown. What happened to Chris Brown, man? It’s not Chris Brown, it’s Chris Black. What the f**k do you mean?,” another said. Unsurprisingly, users on Twitter were quick to criticize the R&B crooner, dredging up old receipts of Black women calling him out on his alleged colorism. But Chris wasn't having it. He took to Instagram and Twitter to address the claims head-on. In a video he posted on his IG story, Chris could be seen hanging out with a group of people, including several Black women. He captioned the post, "STOP IT! I have Black queens all around me. THOP REACHINNNNNG." In the video, she clarified the situation and placed the blame squarely on the club owners and promoters, rather than on Chris Brown. "That video had absolutely nothing to do with Chris Brown, like nothing to do with Chris Brown," she said. "The only reason why his name was mentioned is because we were going to a club that he was hosting. That's the only reason Chris Brown was mentioned." Chris Brown is once again making headlines for all the wrong reasons. This time, he's being accused of colorism while on his Under the Influence tour in the UK. And it’s not a good look.
