In a new interview with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay, Brown opened up about his approach to making music – sharing that he routinely cooks up 4 or more songs “a day.”
As for the bank of material he has amassed with such practice, the chart-topper revealed:
“I have about 15,000 unreleased songs.”
With such a seismic amount of tracks in his arsenal, the 34-year-old – who confirmed that he has owned his master recordings since he was 29 – was quizzed on whether he would follow in the footsteps of artists who have sold their catalogs.
While somewhat open to striking strategic deals, he expressed a desire to retain ownership to create “generational wealth” for his family.
