Angel Reese Gets Kicked Out of Unrivaled Game

The Rose and Laces played an Unrivaled game on Saturday night, and forward Angel Reese got an early exit. Reese tried to swat the ball away late in the second quarter as he escalated his defensive pressure on guard Tiffany Hayes, but he was called for a foul. She was given a technical foul after making several gestures to dismiss Hayes or the call as she left.

Reese continued to argue her point to the officials, seemingly claiming that her gesture was directed at Hayes rather than the referee. However, her argument went unheard, and she was dismissed from the game after receiving another technical foul.

In the history of Unrivaled, Reese is the first player to be kicked out of a game. Reese and the Rose were 1-4 going into the evening, which put them in last place out of the six clubs. The Rose will play the Mist on Friday at 8:15 p.m. ET after their game against the Laces on Saturday.
