Adam Schefter Has Beef With Mike Florio Again

Pete Carroll, 73, a former Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl champion, is reportedly interested in rejoining the NFL and appears to have his sights set on the Chicago Bears’ shortly-to-be head coach position.

After Adam Schefter of ESPN broke the story, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk accused the ESPN NFL Insider of doing Carroll’s agent’s bidding by loudly airing the bombshell on Christmas Day.

Well, that was not at all appreciated by Schefter.

On X (previously Twitter), the ESPN newscaster vehemently denied Florio’s assertion.

Schefter also had a social media altercation with Doug Gottlieb, the men’s basketball coach at Wisconsin-Green Bay and host of a sports talk show, with whom Florio later made a sly jab. He wrote: “Everything you say here is 100 percent wrong,”. “Keep up the guesswork and Merry Christmas.”

In an effort to improve his own circumstances, Florio subtly made fun of Doug Gottlieb, the coach of the Wisconsin-Green Bay men’s basketball team and sports talk host, with whom Schefter also had a falling out on social media.
