In recent years, the New York Jets have lost a number of important players to roster cuts or free agency. Former Jets cornerback Brandin Echols is now seeking to get back together with Aaron Rodgers, one of the biggest personalities to leave the team.
Echols approaches Aaron Rodgers with his proposal
Rodgers is being courted by Echols, who recently inked a two-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, to join him in the Steel City. The Jets dismissed the great quarterback with a post-June 1 designation, but he is free to join with any team prior to that day.

Yes, indeed. Echols responded, “Tell his (expletive) come on,” in reference to Rodgers’ possible Pittsburgh signing. He continued by talking about his friendship with Rodgers and how their casual banter and talks helped to build their bond.
There are other former Jets players who have praised Rodgers as a teammate besides Echols. There is still hope that the four-time MVP may recover if he finds the perfect circumstances, even after a dismal season.
As he considers retiring or signing with the Steelers, Minnesota Vikings, or New York Giants, Rodgers’ future remains uncertain. The choice he makes will have a significant impact on whether he can resume his high level of performance or if his career is coming to an end.
The Jets are left to deal with the fallout from their botched Rodgers experiment.
