For, NBC has pulled the plug on the show after three seasons.
Full story below…
The series chronicled the early life of Hollywood superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – from his humble beginnings to family life to his initial ascend in the wrestling business.
Despite an initial strong start, viewing figures waned.
Season 3, which wrapped in February, averaged 1.4 million – which was down 1 million from season 2’s average (which itself was down 1 million on the 3 million average of season 1).
Per Deadline, this led to the network officially canceling the series.
Johnson starred in the Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang-created show alongside Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Ana Tuisila, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Fasitua Amosa, John Tui, and Matthew Willig.
