Nikola Jokic, the incredible NBA player, has recently revealed that he has never sunk his teeth into a delicious Taco Bell meal. And, interestingly enough, it all stems from a funny incident during the 2014 NBA Draft.

As Jokic’s name was being announced, the TV broadcast shamelessly interrupted the moment with a cheeky Taco Bell commercial. It stole the spotlight and barely gave any attention to his amazing achievement of being selected. Talk about bad timing, right?

And since then, Jokic hasn’t patronized Taco Bell; from the look of things, he is never going to taste a meal from Taco Bell. It’s something he still remembers and I guess it helped him to better himself and become the famous and best NBA player he is today.

In the documentary “Court of Gold,” Nikola Jokic said he has never tasted Taco Bell meals because of the hilarious 2014 NBA Draft incident. He said, “I think I’ve never had Taco Bell just because of that.”

But don’t worry, Jokic’s basketball skills are what truly matter, not his fast-food preferences. And in that realm, he continues to dominate and amaze fans all around the world. So even if he’s not eating some tasty Taco Bell, we can still cheer for him and enjoy his incredible talent on the court.
