Trump Didn’t Win The Nobel Peace Prize, So He’s Helping Smear The Woman Who Did [Op-Ed]

Poor President Donald Trump — he has been robbed, once again. The Norwegian Nobel Committee just refuses to give the baby his binky — sorry — I mean, the Nobel Peace Prize to the most deserving person in history, by his own account, of course.
For those who are unaware, Trump was reportedly nominated for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize, with leaders of Israel, Pakistan, and Cambodia claiming they submitted his name. But he didn’t win. The man who, according to him, won eight non-specific wars across the globe was denied his coveted prize. Instead, it went to South African human rights lawyer Navi Pillay, who, among other things, chaired a United Nations commission that concluded Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, or, as some guy described her in a post Trump promptly shared, she’s an “unabashed hater of America and Israel,” who “celebrated terrorists and rewarded Hamas” by leading a “phony ‘investigation’ claiming to find that Israel committed genocide.”
See, this is Trump’s problem: he doesn’t know how to play his cards right. If he wasn’t so salty about losing a prize literally no one, including himself, thought he would win, prompting him to co-sign a tantrum thrown against Pillay just because she called a spade a spade and a genocide a genocide, she might have been willing to just give him her prize like last year’s winner did, after the commander-in-goo-goo-MAGA spent months kicking and screaming about how no one would award it to him.
Nah, Pillay ain’t a Tang-tinted butt-kisser like Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado, who won the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize. She seemed to have a good time joking about it, though.
“If you clap a little bit more, I may share this prize with Trump,” she said mockingly as she celebrated her win.
Oh, you just know the ketchup was plastered on all the White House walls after Trump saw that clip.
Seriously, though, the Trump administration has scheduled a live stream of an execution by firing squad. He publicly mused that Iran can “take out” Los Angeles and San Diego just to underscore his well-documented (and mostly self-documented) hatred of Democrat-run cities. He has sent the military to those cities for no other reason than because he could. His immigration cops are killing people in the streets, and his administration is responding by lying about those people being “domestic terrorists,” just like it lies to smear immigrants and activists who have been shot by ICE.
Trump has been told by the judicial branch of his own government over and over again across literally thousands of federal court cases that he is violating the U.S. Constitution. He kidnapped the Venezuelan president after bombing a Venezuelan boat and expecting us to take it at face value that there were drugs on board headed to the U.S. He tried to have U.S. citizens convicted of crimes just because he needed scapegoats for his incompetence in “fixing” the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool.
Hell, this man has declared that anyone who doesn’t subscribe to his “super intelligence” name change, and calls it artificial intelligence instead, is “THE ENEMY.”
In what world does this bigoted, hate-mongering, war-mongering, fear-mongering propagandist and sexual predator deserve to ever have his name included in the same sentence with “peace,” let alone be a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize?
Yet, according to him, he not only deserves it, but “there’s never been anybody in the history of the Nobel Prize that deserves it more.”
Trump claims he’s more deserving than anyone who has won it because he “settled eight wars,” “stopped the total obliteration of the war,” and “Iran will never have a nuclear weapon,” which he has claimed over and over again was the reason he got us into this gas price-hiking madness, even though Iran has never threatened nuclear warfare, unlike North Korea’s dictator, Kim Jong Un, whom Trump has called his “friend” and has done nothing but sing the praises of.
Trump didn’t go to war with Iran to stop it from developing nukes; he did it at the behest of the country that has just been found to be committing a genocide in Gaza.
Unfortunately for him, they don’t give out Nobel prizes for that.
