T.J. Holmes‘ wife Marilee Fiebig has broken her silence.

As widely reported, GMA3 anchor Holmes has been thrust into headlines worldwide after allegations of a workplace affair with co-host Amy Robach hit the newswire.

Then, amidst speculation that the 45-year-old had further extramarital activity in the workplace, it was he that called time on his 13-year marriage by filing for divorce from Fiebig – mom of their 9-year-old daughter.

Adding to the drama, Holmes and Robach (who were taken off air as an investigation was launched by GMA execs) were spotted publically smooching while living it up during the holidays together.

Now, Fiebig has shared her response to the happenings.

In a statement issued to the Daily Mail, Fiebig’s divorce attorney Stephanie Lehman read:

“During the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Marilee’s sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter.

To that end T.J.’s lawyer and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously and as amicably as possible.

Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.J’s lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party’s daughter.

Marilee has been touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a new beginning in this new year.”

To date, neither Holmes nor Robach have made a formal statement.
