Stephen Curry’s Quality That “Stands Out the Most” to Victor Wembanyama

Victor Wembanyama talked about Stephen Curry and shared the aspect of the superstar that most impresses him after the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Golden State Warriors 104-94 at home yesterday night.

He stated:  “He’s very inspiring. Growing up, his whole game, the way he pushes himself on the court, it’s incredible. But recently, what stands out is his will to win, which seems almost immortal.”

Even though the league is full of tough opponents these days, Wemby can clearly see how they differ from Curry. Steph doesn’t play the game for the purpose of playing, according to the Spurs star. The star player for the Warriors wants to win games every time he takes the court.

Steph stands out from the others because he has maintained this passion despite all of his accomplishments. Wemby also said: “He doesn’t play just to play; he’s competitive and at the top of the conference. You can feel that he’s still hungry for more championships.”

Stephen Curry has always been a favorite of Wembanyama’s. He claimed that he used to watch the Warriors star’s games as a kid to acquire motivation.

The French center recalls seeing Steph’s Warriors play the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals. “I watched the finals live even in 2022, and you could see his hunger,” the current Rookie of the Year remarked. Although Steph receives recognition for his numerous contributions to the game, his competitive spirit frequently goes unappreciated.

Steph saved his team in the last match against France when Team USA, loaded with superstars and all-time greats, traveled to the Olympics in Paris.

The Baby-Faced Assassin also carried the squad on his back during the most recent game against the Dallas Mavericks. The fact that kids like Wemby look up to Steph as an idol shows how much of an influence he has had on the game.

Wemby must have been ecstatic to defeat his idol in the most recent encounter. The 20-year-old held the Warriors to just 94 points in 34 minutes while leading the Spurs with 25 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists.
