Ryan Clark Talks Development of Bills QB Josh Allen

It was the first time the Bills had ever won games in the playoffs. Josh Allen and Buffalo used to play attacking football and outscore their opponents. This required taking chances and frequently making mistakes. But this season, Allen has changed, and the numbers don’t reflect that.

In comparison to Lamar, his divisional round stats were mediocre; but, he did not turn the ball over, unlike the Ravens.

Ryan Clark praised the Bills quarterback and the team’s performance against the Ravens in the most recent episode of Inside the NFL, highlighting Allen’s development. Clark claims that Buffalo’s goalie has put winning ahead of statistics.

“What I loved about the way Josh Allen is he didn’t lose this game. He made winning plays on the 4th down, he protected the football when Lamar Jackson and the Ravens didn’t. That’s the evolution of not only Josh Allen but also this team.”

As the Bills played complimentary football, Allen set the pace for the team and played the role of the leader flawlessly. Even against a strong opponent, the Bills made sure they didn’t give away the game. That was demonstrated by their play-calling, and Allen now has another opportunity to face the Chiefs and Mahomes.
