Richard Sherman, a former Seattle Seahawks player, posted footage from his home security cameras on social media, showing armed assailants breaking into his house while his family was inside.

The burglary happened shortly after midnight on Sunday, Sherman’s 37th birthday, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office. Sherman stated: “House being robbed at gun point with my family in it isn’t what anyone wants for a birthday gift,” . “Scary situation that my wife handled masterfully and kept my kids safe. If anyone has any info that can help find these people please reach out.”

 

Three people can be seen in the footage breaking through Sherman’s house’s window. The robbery is still being investigated, according to the police.

It’s unclear if Sherman’s house was broken into. According to authorities, investigators have viewed the security camera footage and will utilize it, along with any further evidence, to construct the case.

As of this now, there are no suspects and no arrests. The Seahawks’ “Legion of Boom” defense was anchored by cornerback Sherman, who was selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft from Stanford. He made the Pro Bowl five times and was named to the first team All Pro three times during his seven seasons in Seattle.
