While the former couple tried to rekindle their relationship, it ultimately ended in disaster. Scrappy later married Bambi, and the pair have three children together, but they are currently estranged. Time is flyyyyying!

Monica's son, Rodneyy, has officially attended his prom, and his outfit choice was a fashion statement that left fans in awe. The talented rapper and producer dressed in a combination of black and cream that featured a matching cream vest, looking stylish as ever.

As expected, his mother was bursting with joy, and she even put together a small event to send her son off to prom. She shared several pictures of Rodneyy and his date, who looked stunning in a sheer, all-black sequined gown, while the rest of the family, including Rodneyy’s siblings Laiyah and Romelo, were also featured in the photos.

We had to do a double take when we saw his date because she favors his mother.

 

 

Fans couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance between Rodneyy's date and the singer herself. In the caption, Monica expressed her love for her son, and fans flooded the comment section with compliments about how grown up and handsome he looked.

 

 

Monica's ex-partner and father to Rodneyy and Romelo, rapper Rodney "Rocko" Hill, also shared a photo of Rodneyy from his prom night, calling him a "Prom killa!"

Monica, who is a mother of three, has been candid about how her divorce from former Los Angeles Laker Shannon Brown in 2019 and how it impacted her children. Her main focus was to make sure that her children were okay. Monica shares her daughter, Laiyah, with Shannon.

Monica has always been a supportive mother to her children, and her recent post is a testament to her love and pride for Rodneyy's achievements. Rodneyy's prom night has proven that he is well on his way to carving his path in the music industry, and fans can't wait to see what he has in store for the future.
