Predictions [Billboard 200]: P!nk’s ‘Trustfall’ Set To Be Her First Album to Miss #1 Since 2012

With moderate buzz (compared to its predecessors), ‘Trustfall‘ – the ninth studio album from P!nk – charged to chart battle on February 17.

Lifted to digital shelves on the heels of previously released singles ‘Never Gonna Not Dance Again’ and its title track, the project – her first studio effort since 2019’s ‘Hurts 2B Human’ – boasts 13 songs and guest appearances from The Lumineers, First Aid Kit, and Chris Stapleton.

Yet, despite managing to see only one single impact the Hot 100 (‘Never’ has peaked at #99 so far), reports of Apple Music and iTunes domination suggested the set is pacing toward making quite the splash on the Billboard 200 its first week.

Thanks to that commercial activity, industry analysts have announced their prediction of how sales and streaming will likely spell out for the Pop diva by the end of the LP’s inaugural sales period.

See details inside.

P!nk’s ‘Trustfall’

Predicted First-Week Sales (SPS):  50,000-55,000 units

Predicted Billboard 200 Debut: #3-#5

According to HDD, P!nk’s ‘Trustfall’ will likely land in the Billboard 200’s top 5 thanks to first-week sales of approximately 55,000 units.

If the prediction rings true, the opus will mark the singer’s eighth consecutive top 10 placement on the tally (despite ending her #1s streak that’s been in place since ‘Truth About Love’ topped the hitlist in 2012).

Notably, ‘Trustfall’ is the Pop diva’s first studio effort to sell less than 100,000 units its first week – representing a 48% drop from the inaugural sales attached to its 2019 predecessor, ‘Hurts 2B Human.’

With major promotional appearances lined up for the next week (including ‘The Today Show,’ ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,’ and a show takeover special on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’), however, there’s still a chance P!nk can turn the tide on the ill-fated LP.
