Rihanna takes centerstage in ‘Smurfs’ – and the first look trailer is here.

Powered by Paramount Animation, the film finds Papa Smurf (John Goodman) mysteriously taken by evil wizards, Razamel and Gargamel.

Smurfette (Rihanna) takes charge as the Smurfs mount a mission into the real world to save him. Drawing on the help of new friends, the Smurfs are tasked with discovering what defines their destiny to save the universe.

Boasting an all-star cast, RiRi is joined by James Corden, Nick Offerman, JP Karliak, Daniel Levy, Amy Sedaris, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, Nick Kroll, Hannah Waddingham, Alex Winter, Maya Erskine, Billie Lourd, Xolo Maridueña with Kurt Russell and John Goodman.

Set to hit theaters on July 18, watch the first-look trailer below…

Rihanna serves as a producer alongside Jay Brown, Ty Ty Smith, and Ryan Harris.

Penned by Pam Brady, ‘Smurfs’ is directed by Chris Miller.
