The former ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ star, 39, has officially filed divorce from the former NFL player, 45.
PEOPLE report that the 39-year-old made the filing with the Montgomery County Family Court.
Interestingly, the initial divorce petition was submitted on April 14, with an amended version submitted on June 15.
The development seems to confirm that there was indeed legitimacy to the reports of trouble in paradise back in October last year.
Monique was quick to hit back at those claims of a split and intimated that it was hearsay, yet less than a year later, the union is over.
The couple, who starred on ‘Potomac’ and more recently on OWN’s ‘Love & Marriage: D.C,’ share three children together.
