The American Music Awards is celebrating its milestone 50th anniversary with a televised special in lieu of a traditional ceremony.

As such, organizers have tapped an eclectic tally of talent to honor the AMAs’ legacy for the October 6 special.

Moments ago, it was announced that Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Chaka Khan, Brad Paisley, Gladys Knight, Green Day, Kane Brown, RAYE, and Stray Kids will take to the stage.

Notably, Mimi will perform a medley of hits from her blockbuster album, ‘The Emancipation of Mimi,’ as its 20th anniversary approaches.

Hudson has been tapped to honor her idol, the late, great Whitney Houston, while Khan will perform her classic hit ‘I’m Every Woman.’

The two-hour AMAs broadcast airs Sunday, October 6 concurrently on both coasts at 8:00-10:00 PM, ET/5:00-7:00 PM PT on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+.
