Unlike other celebs who may try to present a perfect image, Jessica said she chose to be real and unfiltered. ”I am just the first person in Hollywood to talk about it, and not try to make a pretty picture of it. I don't want to be perfect," she expressed with honesty and strength. Although their relationship ended, their connection spanned eight years, from 2015 to 2020. Adding another layer to their troubled love story, Jessica revealed a heartbreaking experience she endured in 2020—a miscarriage. She disclosed that she was pregnant with Nick's child when tragedy struck. In a previous interview with Hollywood Unlocked, she shared how she discovered another woman's pregnancy via Instagram (Nick’s ex-Brittany Bell) while they were still together. In part, she wrote, “I wanted it to work, prayed every day that you’d see me and love me the way that I loved you. Maybe you did but just kept it from me during the relationship. Speaking of her book, Jessica confirmed her intention to write one, but when it came to Nick's role in it, she humorously remarked that it would be a brief chapter. "I think if you put it in a book, he would be half a chapter. A half a chapter is still too long," she quipped. As for their future, Jessica made her stance clear: there's no going back. “I am not ever going back, and that's the facts," she declared. "I am having so much fun without him, and I am better without him, and I don't need all that energy and all that s--t. I am done." Looking ahead, Jessica, who celebrated her 39th birthday on June 21, expressed her desire to find the right man and start a family on her own terms. She acknowledged that healing is an ongoing process and is determined not to wait indefinitely. “Part of my healing process is not sitting back and waiting to be fully healed... nobody ever really is. I can't wait to make love and have a baby soon. Oh yeah, I am all for it," she proclaimed. Fatigued from discussing her ex, Jessica made it clear that she wants to move on.
