Kelly Rowland may be no stranger to seeing her name atop music charts over her illustrious career, but this weekend the multi-hyphenate diva found her name printed at #1 on a new list thanks to the Netflix film ‘Mea Culpa.’

‘Mea’ – which also stars Trevante Rhodes, Nick Sagar, Sean Sagar, RonReaco Lee, Shannon Thornton, and more – was released on February 23 and within a day has already soared to #1 on the list of Netflix’s most-watched movies in the United States.

While the streaming giant does not reveal detailed first-day ratings and viewership figures, the fact the Tyler Perry-directed venture was listed over big titles like ‘The Super Mario Bros,’ ‘Players,’ and ‘Lover Stalker Killer,‘ and more suggests a sizable audience tuned in to see Rowland and co. in the suspenseful thriller.

Taking to social media on Saturday (February 24), Kelly thanked her faithful fans – affectionately called #RowlandStones – for their support.

“Wow! What dope news to wake up to,” the Destiny’s Child alum said. “Thank you to everyone that streamed ‘Mea Culpa’!”
