Gilbert Brown, Goes Viral After Brutally Beating up a Driver

The Green Bay Packers were aware in 2003 that defensive tackle Gilbert Brown, one of their best players, was nearing the end of his playing days. In the hopes that a year of growth in a limited position would better prepare him for being the regular starter, the Packers did not wait to choose his potential replacement, as they currently do.

Thus, Green Bay selected Kenny Peterson of Ohio State with their third-round pick (79th overall). Peterson helped the Buckeyes win the National Championship as a senior and was selected to the Second Team All-Big Ten.

Peterson has been living in relative anonymity ever since he left the NFL. But when a video of him repeatedly striking a driver of a vehicle was uploaded online on Thursday, he went viral:

Peterson allegedly acted after the van driver spat on him, according to several accounts. It appears like the former Packers defensive tackle had the upper hand in the altercation, as seen in the video above.
