Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s theatrics during Sunday’s Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks game did not sit well with Jaylen Brown. Brown referred to the Bucks star as “a child” after they had a lighthearted conversation in the second quarter of the Boston team’s 113-107 victory.
Giannis was the focal point of a few contentious plays during the game, which was a physical contest between the two sides. He tripped up Jayson Tatum as he got in his landing spot on a three-point shot and then elbowed Brown high on a drive to the rim.
After the game, Brown called Giannis “a child” in a lighthearted but somewhat childish jest.
Giannis faked a high five with Jaylen Brown
On his route to scoring 43 points on Sunday, Antetokounmpo did his thing, crashing past any defender in his way of the basket. On his way to the cup in the second quarter, Antetokounmpo accidentally elbowed Brown up high when he was in his way, sending Brown to the ground.
Antetokounmpo received an offensive foul on the play, which is uncommon in the NBA. (However, the high elbow is not a flagrant.) Antetokounmpo reached out to give Brown a make-good high five as the two players ascended the floor.
However, Antetokounmpo gave Brown a “too slow” reprimand and withdrew his hand, grinning broadly as he placed his hand over his head.

After that, Antetokounmpo extended his hand for another high five, but Brown refused to accept it. His lecture was over. Antetokounmpo had given him a rather innocuous burn, and it was all in good humor. However, following the Boston victory, Brown, who scored 14 points in his first game in more than a week following a hip injury, expressed his displeasure with Antetokounmpo’s lighthearted demeanor. Following the game, Brown stated: “Giannis is a child,”. “I’m just focused on helping my team get a win, and that’s what we did tonight.”

Brown is a pretty somber person. Extremely serious. Therefore, in the midst of combat, he has no time for jokes.
