Taking to social media, Parton congratulated Queen Bey on the success of ‘Texas’ – which made history when it topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs tally. She also expressed excitement for ‘Act II’ (due March 29).
Parton wrote:
“I’m a big fan of Beyonce and very excited that she’s done a Country album. So congratulations on your Billboard Hot Country number one.
Can’t wait to hear the full album!

During a recent interview, Parton also waxed candid on the long-rumored ‘Jolene’ duet with Bey:
